I believe the Texaco had been deserted for some time before it was remodeled into Tysen's gas station and then later into the current BP. The building to the north was a former television repair store and then a Real Estate office until it was torn down and the space is now occupied by the Auto Zone store. Across the street is Wier's Chevrolet well before it was nicely remodeled into the current facility.
That's what it looked like when I was a kid.
Dave Risner ran the 76 station there too.
