This was an Arco gas station on the northwest corner of Smith Valley Road and 135.

Great capture of the Sinclair to ARCO rebranding effort! Sinclair was purchased by ARCO in 1970 and many Sinclairs were rebranded to ARCO. Notice that the pole sign says Sinclair although the building signage says ARCO.

Looking west, along Smith Valley Road, from Indiana State Road 135, at a Sinclair/ARCO service station, Greenwood, Indiana. Address is 692 South Indiana 135. Of note, also, is the United Gas station, across from the Sinclair. Gman, you definitely know your service station history, as this was right after the 1970 Atlantic-Richfield purchase of the Sinclair Oil Corporation.
