This was a Standard gas station on the northwest corner of US 31 and Jefferson Street in Franklin. A Shell station was on the northeast corner in this photo. A gas station was on the southwest corner with gas for $0.34 a gallon. The Standard station is now a Circle K. There other two gas stations have been replaced with CVS and Walgreens.
