This farm was southwest of the intersection of Miami county road 1000 south and Strawtown pike. It was way out in the middle of a field near Deer Creek and was at the end of a long dirt driveway. The property was occupied when I moved into the area in 1985. It was later abandoned and all of the structures except for the big barn and an old wind mill tower were demolished. The barn was still standing in 2008 when I left the area. I drove through that area in the Summer of 2015 and the barn was gone. It was just an empty lot out in the middle of the field.
