This was the Smith's home (John & Hazel) John was the treasurer for the Alford Church and Hazel was the secretary. I'd mow the church yard then go to their house every week during the summer during my high school years to get paid and visit with them. John was a truck driver(you can see his truck in this picture on the far right) Hazel was a retired school teacher. After John passed away - the house was sold to young Smith couple and there was a fire not long after they purchased it and the house was a total loss-since then it was torn down and Prides Creek Park owns the land.
