This house was torn down in the mid '00s. NIPSCO now operates a Natural Gas Odorization Station on this property.

Anyone who lived in the neighborhood during the mid 2000's probably remembers the N.O.N.O.S (Neighbors Opposing Nipsco Odorization Station) signs everyone had in their yards. NIPSCO tried to buy some land on 400 E but were unsuccessful. However, the elderly lady who lived here on Burdick passed away and they were able to acquire this land to build their station.
