Photo 13-OPU-32

My father, Richard Leeke bought this property in 1960 from Leslie Brothers who was the third generation in the Brothers family to own it after his grandfather Joseph Brothers was granted a deed by President Andrew Jackson in 1830. I inherited the property and have the deed which is full of history including the wills of the Brothers family. My father had the house insulated with bedford stone in the 1980s. A few of the outbuildings are gone but the beautiful barn with hand hewn beams is still there. The pond is there and 40 acres of woods behind it.
