I think this building was a car/lot repair shop at the corner of Bellefontaine Road and Water Street in Hamilton, IN, looking nearly straight south, with the fellowship hall of Hamilton Church of Christ in the upper right background. I don't know who owned this business at the time the photo was taken; by the time I was aware of the ownership in later years, it was owned by Don Peel. I have a somewhat indistinct memory from my early childhood (probably the early 1960s) of my maternal grandfather, Lloyd Lautzenhiser, playing cards with a group of men in this building; knowing my grandfather, I assume it was a poker game.
