The Gay Barn was a restaurant on the east side of U.S. 27 in the south end of Angola, owned by the family that owned Gay's Market and later a liquor store. This is looking northeast with U.S. 27 barely visible in the lower left of the photo. The Gay Barn had high-backed booths and was a place where my parents took me and my sisters when we were very young children.
