This was the home of my grandparents, Donald and Lelah Gilbert, east of Angola on Metz Road, a mile west of the crossroads in Metz. Before they lived there, it's the house where I lived from birth to age 7, and where my dad and grandpa added on to the very small house so that the days of five kids sharing a room ended. Grandpa always loved the sight of his cattle dotting the hill around the barn, as they're doing in this photo.

Minor mistake: It's three-quarters of a mile west of the crossroads in Metz.
