You can barely see it, but the Erie Lackawanna signal tower stands in the top left of the photo. It towered over the tracks. The tracks were removed in the early '80s, but the landowner requested the railroad leave the signal tower behind as a reminder. It's still there today standing over the empty track bed, but be aware that it's on private property. Some of its best views are from the county roads surrounding it.
