Hicks Truck Stop. Camera is pointing ESE. There was a tavern on the South side of the building connected to the restaurant. Won't see that today.

I remember it well when it was Petro's and when it was Cactus Junction. Used to stop at the Bar most every night. Then go next door and eat Breakfast after closing.

I can also Remember when nothing was there. Every Summer John Robbins would sell produce at that corner.

I drove past this establishment last weekend on July 27th 2024..it's totally burnt to the ground. 😔 Sad
