The drive-in
We used to go to movies here in the late 60s & early 70s. Sometimes they would have movies back to back until 3 or 4 a.m. I remember their having a Road Runner and Coyote marathon during that time too. Prices were reasonable--sometimes $1/car load. None of the structure is left, and the house has been gone for many years.
I used to go watch movies there when I was a young man. Sure brings back memories.
Went there as a teenager and then went there after we married and had children and use to get them in their PJ's and take them to the movies!
I have my picture taken at The Wabash Drive-In with Smiley Burnette in the '50s. What year would that have been?
Gary - was that before he became engineer of the Cannonball?
Spent many a night there.
