This photo is of 13237 Brandon Road in La Porte City, Ia. My father grew up in this house. It has been in our family since it was built in 1912. A few years prior to this photo, the second story of the house was taken off. I have the aerial photo from that era framed on my wall. I also grew up in this house, and would have been less than a year old when this photo was taken. The playhouse is no longer in the front yard, of course. The two big barns are gone and the majority of out buildings are no longer there. The house has had some additions built in the last 5 years. Most of the trees are still there, including the 3 large trees around the house itself. It's neat to see it like this.
