Fern and Earl Peyton Farm. This was my grandparents farm. I believed they moved there a few years after my father, Thomas was born in 1942. They raised 4 sons here, Robert, James, Thomas and Roger Peyton. They milked 40 to 50 cattle daily, raised hogs, chickens etc. and farmed approx. 200 acres of land. My grandpa Earl passed away in 1967. My uncle Roger (youngest son of Fern and Earl) was left to help my grandma Fern maintain the responsibility of the farming. My grandma passed away in August of 1986. After more than 40 years of farming, the next few years after grandma Fern's passing, the land, livestock and their home were sold.
