Wow. I am overwhelmed to see this picture. We are a family of seventeen children! My parents are deceased and my oldest brother is also deceased. This is a real "throw-back" and a lot has changed at the farm. There are a lot more trees, which my Dad planted...that pole building is there with another one attached. The farm was hit with a tornado in 1983 and the barn has a new/different roof. The silo is different. I wish I could recognize the cars in the yard cause I'm sure I used to drive one. Our family still lives there and we are an active Family Farm! GO FARMERS!

I was one of the 17 kids who grew up there. It looks the same as when I last saw it

I am the oldest daughter of the children who grew up on that farm. I grew up during the 1940's and 1950's when life was hard. Don't know how my folks made it. 13 of those children have college degrees. I am the oldest living member of my family. Most went to Iowa State, but I went to UW-Madison. It looks the same except the trees are bigger. What a surprise to find a picture of my home on Face book. Go Cyclones!!
