This is the Friedrichsen Family Farm built by my grandfather around the turn of the century. It was located two miles East of Manning and One mile south of the highway, on the crossroad of Eagle Avenue and 320th Street. I lived on this farm the first six years of my life, 1952 to 1958. The silo wasn't there back then and neither was the big building near the house. The storm cellar behind the house appears to be gone, too. My father sold the farm after my grandfather died in 1957. The farm was about 500 acres in size. Lots of good memories here for me!
