This place belonged to James and Nellie Monk..the house was built in 1928. James passed on his birthday Jan. 7,1952, his daughter Leone who was 3 when they moved to there had a son, Robert in Feb of 1952 who bought the farm in 1977 when the family sold it after Nellie's passing. It is still owned by Robert and his wife who plan to leave it to their 3 children someday.
I should have added that as of 2016 all these building still stand but have been redone or added on to. The little garage by the drive was moved behind the grain shed which was converted to a shop. Also a lot of buildings and grain bins were added thru the years.
