We always loved going to the Red Barn!
My first job was in the concession stand at the Spirit Drive-in Theater. It's the site of a Walmart Supercenter now.
I WORKED AT THE SPIRIT LAKE DRIVE IN THEATHER IN EARLY 1950'S. WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL SPIRIT LAKE CONSOLIDATED. ALSO HAD A JOB CLEANING THE THEATHER IN TOWN. FORGOT NAME OF PERSON WHO RAN IT BUT HIS DAUGHTER WAS A YEAR OR TWO BEHIND ME IN SCHOOL. THIS WAS FROM 1943 TO 1954.
