The Ladora Motel is the L shaped building across the highway on the right side. The house to the left of it was the proprietor's house. You can see Bed Bug, a small creek that runs through town, going under the highway and behind the motel. The motel has been out of business many, many years. When I was young an English couple and their daughter relocated here and ran the motel. The Ralph's were an interesting transplanted family in Ladora.

My family (Glenn & Marion Schirm) owned the Ladora Motel 1959-1964. They sold the property to a Mrs. Johnson. I believe the Ralphs were the next owners.
