This is the farm of my grandparents, Forrest and Sophie Richards. It was built by my great grandfather, Charles Richards. I was born and lived there until I was about 2 yrs old, when my mother remarried and moved to Nebraska. Spent many lazy summers with Grandma Sophie.

Many of the trees have been cut down to the east of the property, where there was a lovely apple orchard and Grandma's garden. The center of the oval driveway used to have 2 large willow trees, with poppies and day lilies in the center. Behind the small lean-to machine shed, used to be a larger barn where Grandpa kept his milk cows and sheep.
