This was the original Jacob Ackerman farm in Section 24, Viola Township. Wilmar and his siter, Ione, Peters lived here until they died. The acreage was in need of repair and relatives of Wilmar and Ione purchased the farm and have rebuilt the house, taken down some of the older buildings, cleaned the acreage, and put up new fixtures. A family resides in the new home.
