Meerdink Farm -

This farm has been in Meerdink name since 1893. Wm and Lena Meerdink bought from an Uncle, when Henry Meerdink was six months old. Henry married Jennie in 1924, they raised their three children here. Marvin was the youngest, and married Betty in 1961, and Henry and Jennie moved to Hull. Marvin and Betty raised their three children here. We built a new house in 1977, and we still are living here and farming the land.

This farm in Meerdink name since 1893, Wm Meerdink, then son Henry Meerdink, then Marvin Meerdink. Each generation raised a family on this place. Marvin and Betty Meerdink are still living on this farm, In the 54 years we have been married we have added cattle sheds, machine sheds, hog houses, and a new house.
