My great grandparents built this home in the 1930's. Throughout the years my dad's first cousin lived in it, then it was sold out of the family, then my husband and I were searching for a home in 2011 and bought it. In the upstairs attic I can find where my grandfather, who died when I was just 5, wrote his name in pencil. It is so fun to look back at old photos of the house and see how it has changed throughout the years. We have done a lot of work to it since buying it in 2011, probably enough work to build a new home, but there is something to be said about keeping a preserving an incredible home like this! My husband and I feel very fortunate to be able to raise another generation here!
