This is facing Northwest. The house, garage, West shed, silo, and hog shed (East of the crib) were buried around 2002. The corn crib was torn down around 1990. The barn and shed south of it were buried 2 weeks ago (3/15/2016). There is nothing there but the fire number by the highway that says #1886. I lived here from 1974 (birth) till Dec. '83 when we moved down the road. After college in '94 I rented the house from my uncle until I bought my own place in 2001. The combine in the pic was my uncles '79 JD 8820, that my dad has owned now since 1991. (Yeah she still runs!) The tractor by the corn crib is either my uncles 4630, or our old 4640. And the big wagon West of the crib is a 600bu. Crysteel "TruckWagon." That thing was a bear to pull out of the field by itself. My uncle had this and three 5500 Parker wagons. After about 2 years of fighting it out of the field with a dualed up JD 4840, he traded it in for another 5500 Parker. ........... Man this really brings back memories from when I was little. Thank You!
