This property was built and owned by James Arthur and Sarah Alice (Perry) Cooper. They were wonderful next door neighbors. I lived with them my senior year at Anderson High School Class of 1958. My family lived next door in the home of Arthur Cooper's parents.

Oh yes! Arthur was my school teacher and principal at Marlowe School. Also, his wife Alice was my Dad's cousin, so I've been in that house many times. We used to walk through the fields from our house to theirs, which was much closer than going by way of the road!
