SHARPSBURG BALL PARK My father, Charlie "Mouse" Martin founded this ballpark. At one time this was the entertainment available to the town. Many great memories from this place. After his death, the park sat vacant for many years. It was sad to visit and see it in such bad shape. How wonderful to learn and visit again after a group had refurbished it and began to have Little League Baseball return to the site.

I grew up in Sharpsburg several years ago. So much has changed since I left there, but I still consider it my home. So many good memories and heart breaks will for ever be with me from those years.
