My husband and I lived in the house next to the church and that barn behind the picture of the church belonged to us. I remember the day the church burned. My father-in-law and mother-in-law lived across from us and my husband's aunt lived on the other side of the church.

My Grandfather Build this Church and it was opened Oct 1941. The lumber for the Church was sawed from his farm and surrounding farms. The special wood inside was bought from donation. I was setting in my condo in Louisville when the new came on that the accident had happen. I felt crazy inside because I just new it was the church I attended as a boy.
