That old gas station was called Pride Oil when I worked there as a kid back in the 80's

That is on the corner of Rt 1 and 23? My Nephew worked there for awhile. We lived in the white house to the right of it in the downstairs apartment.

I worked at Pride Oil from 1990 until it closed. That's when they built Citgo & Wendys on that corner. Had a lot of good times on that corner.

This must have been just prior to the Womack & Quillen Gulf Service Station. Bert Womack and Dennis Quillen were the operators. I hung out there and washed cars in the late 50's. They really had a good business.

That is my fathers Dennis Quillen and uncle Burt Womack gulf oil gas station . Needless to say I spent a lot of days there helping out .
