Upton Elementary School

Was torn down a few years ago, the church bought it.

I went to school there 1st thru 4th grades

I went there from 4th through 8th and did some substitute teaching there while my children attended 1st through 8 th I was also 4-H leader for many years ! The school was a community magnet. It is truly missed!

Yes. That used to be a favorite “ parking place”. Oh,so many many years ago. Like sixty years ago.

Went to school there 2nd thru 8th grade great school, learned to shoot marbles play softball and basketball and the 3 Rs

Martha Faye Wooden ( me I went there to Upton Elementary school in 60s on up to 3rd grade

Karen Booker, Martha wooden, Micheal Logsdon, Mary Louise Miller..went there too
