My father bought this farm in 1957 from Parker Badgett. The James Albert Carrico Family. We lived there until 1966 and sold it to the Daniel Raley Family. The Raley's made some improvments to the house adding a attached garage. It was a wonderful place to live as a child. At the time we grew tobacco and had milking cows. We grew our own vegetables in a large garden behind the house.
This home is no longer standing. A new beautiful yellow sided home has been built and it still looks like a lovely place to live.
