This farm owed by John and Bessie Anderson. It's at the end of Anderson lane. They never lived here. This was their dairy farm where John and Bessie milked cows and sold grade A milk for much of their lives. Their son Freddie Anderson married Teresa Merrill in December of 1980. Freddie and Teresa moved in and raised their family, Kerry Anderson and Michael Anderson. They lived in the house for 35 years. When Freddie's mother passed away in 2014. Freddie and Teresa moved to the home place on US62.
This is not the Anderson home, it is on Central Ridge Road, 1 mile from US 62, near Claysville. We purchased this home from Wendell Pratt in Nov. 1973. We still live here in 2021. We’ve added a garage and several outbuildings. In this picture we had built a rail fence in order to keep out cattle that escaped regularly, and we planted fruit trees in the back yard.
