The store building on the corner was owned by J.W. Reynolds and his wife Barbara who has a very nice grocery business. Not sure of the building in the center, at that time. Was it property of the Masons? The house on the right was owned and occupied by Dr.and Mrs. Taylor and his office was through a side door. They built the house in order for him to have his office available to the people of Stamping Ground as well as his patients from the countryside. Two lovely people. The lot on the the corner with the cars was J. W. Reynolds' Used Car Lot in Stamping Ground, Scott County, Kentucky.
Well Reynolds car lot is no longer open. A gas station was built up beside the bank. And of course there's lots of housing that didn't use to be there. The old distillery has been torn down and a dollar general is there now.
The old Stamping Grd. Elementary school has been torn down and a new one built. That happened years ago.
