This is a picture of my husband's family farm on Ogden Ridge Road in Trimble County. He and his two sisters were raised on this farm and so were our two children, then our son's two children. Sadly,the farm was sold to LG&E in 2013 after being in the family since 1946.

This was my granny's house & my brother's house years later. My granny, Mary Mahoney, passed away in 1992 & I miss her as much today & I did back then, if not more.

This is my grandma's house Mary Mahoney. I am the oldest grandchild. I grew up spending lots of time here. Every Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day and Thanksgiving was celebrated with family here-not to mention countless weekends. I remember playing tag, hide and seek, riding bicycles and motorcycles and other fun outdoor activities. The smell of yeast rolls, chocolate chip cookies, vegetable soup and garden picked green beans comes to mind. So many memories of looking at family photos and just feeling at home and peace. There was no place like Granny's! I miss her too.
