That's Providence High School. I graduated from there in 1956. It has since been torn down. Behind the school is the gym where we played basketball. I watched that building being constructed and I graduated there. I was also a BB cheerleader there in HS. The open area is where the original football field was. Across the street is the General Baptist Church where my dad was saved during a revival. The building with the small cross is the Primitive Baptist. West Main Street is in the background, Cedar St. in the foreground. This is my precious hometown, forever in my heart. I spent my first 21 years here, my parents and one brother stayed until they were taken in a car accident in 1977.
I grew up right across the street use to watch the Basketball games from the upstairs window graduated from PHS in 1965 Carolyn Pike Reed.
