The Palabra Gift shop on the corner of Rt. 122 and 26 in Poland Spring, Me. Known for selling historic Poland Water bottles. The building was leveled about 20 years ago and Today, this is a Big Apple convenience store.

The water bottles, known as 'Moses Bottles' were first made to commemorate the opening of the Poland Spring Hotel in 1876. They were filled, of course, with Poland Spring Water and presented as souvenirs to those who attended. Over the ensuing years (until 1972), many different designs, sizes and colors of Moses Bottles were created for Poland Spring Water and various liquors.

Address is 386 Maine Street (Route 26), Poland. Route 26 runs along the lower left corner of the photo. The Big Apple also houses a Dunkin' store.
