Berry Hill Orchard, Route 4. The former Agway store and this complex are now home of the Ted Berry Company.

Berry Hill Orchard Company was begun gradually in the early 1900s by Howard and his son Lewis on this site on Route 4 in Livermore, Maine. Each year, father and son transferred several acres each year from pasture land for dairy cows to apple trees and the enterprise grew over the subsequent decades.

In 2010, a great-grandson of Lewis embarked on the journey of re-establishing the Berry tradition of fruit-growing.

The apple trees are long gone, but the property is still owned by family.
