Photo 109-BAN-13

Comments

This home was owned by my parents, Charlie and Irene Woodward from 1965-1993. My childhood bedroom was the window next to the garage doors. We had a pick your own strawberry business for years and Dad ran the vegetable experiments for UMO and the extension here. We owned both sides of the road for a half mile. Approximately where the “R” in aerial is used to be a cement pad from an old garage. We had a greenhouse there where we started the plants for the experimental garden in the spring. We used to ice skate on the little pond at the top of the picture just below the row of trees, and in the summer we used to go fishing in the river (never ate the fish because it was too polluted).
