Wesson's Grove. My step brother Eddie Babb schlepped burgers there in the 60's.
Watson's Grove had the best burgers 🍔 topped with sauteed sliced onions - yum 😋!
This is definitely Simpson's hamburgers, on Rt 114, on the west side of Sebago, on the lake. Spent much of my childhood here. My dad was his friend.
Simpson's burgers at the end of Long Beach Sebago Lake. Now defunct and delapatated.
Watson’s Grove was the to go place , it was located on route 26 in Falmouth and is now a pet store. You were lucky if you could get a parking space and it was yummy
I know I said Simpson’s hamburgers on Sebago above. Everything about it looks exactly like it, except I think the angle of the building to the road is wrong. So I’m not sure now!
We use to drive up to Watson’s Grove every weekend back in the 60’s. They had the best burgers around and were always busy. It’s a shame that they are gone, however, Ken’s Place seafood keeps going. There’s no place like Maine! GO RED RIOTS!
That's not Wasson's Grove (and it never was "Watson's"). I grew up just around the corner and had to walk there every day to get the bus to school. On the other hand, the memories of the burgers at Wasson's are spot on--the best I've ever had!
Here's the real Wasson's, on Gray Road in Falmouth Maine:

My family drove up to Watson’s Grove every Sunday to get fantastic Fried Clams and Burges.

Jonathan, I use to get the bus there as well, in 1967
