I have lived in this house since 1952, as a child of 7 years old, purchased the farm from family when I was 19 years (1965). Shed between main house and barn has been removed and replaced with more living space and 2 car garage. Tree on front lawn was uprooted during 2 hurricanes. First one I used a large farm tractor to stand it back up and cabled it for 3 years. Second (Hurricane "Bob") destroyed it and was replaced with a red maple. Back of barn has been totally cleared of all trees and replaced with a large field like when I was a child. Barn has been totally refurbished with new beams and siding.
