This is Gray Fox Lodge at the top of Mosher Hill in Farmington ME. Today only four of the A-frames remain.

My childhood home. My parents John P and Elizabeth B Holmes restored the house, remodeled the woodshed to become Gray Fox Lodge Restaurant and built the 6 A-Frames. My mother prepared the menu herself and cooked in our own kitchen. We raised St Bernards and Basset Hounds there and rented out the A Frames. Our view of the mountains was soectacular and people came from all over the world to enjoy the food, the view and the hospitality.

We raised St Bernards and Basset Hounds there and rented out the A Frames. Our view of the mountains was spectacular and people came from all over the world to enjoy the food, the view and the hospitality.
