Purchased this home 2/21 from Burgess family; current property 5 acres subdivided from Burgess farm. Photo taken year prior to their purchase in 1964. Main block of house on right may date to 1836, with addition built around 1900. Owned by Algernon S. Howard and descendants from 1836 until approximately 1951. Front porch now screened, and two maples growing in front. Barn converted to garage, and two rollup doors added. Roadway behind house abandoned and now screened by trees on both sides. Dome house later built in field to right of house.
