"1877 House" and Cottage off Popham Road on the edge of Bates-Morse Mountain Conservation Area (on Morse Mountain Road in Phippsburg, Maine). "Built as the farmhouse for the Morse family in 1877 and in 1947 became the summer house of the âJimâ St. John family for the next 46 years."
Looks like some renovations have taken place since 1968 on the house and barn (refer to Google maps).

The old farmhouse was where Small Point residents would go for tea when they could walk up the beach at low tide in the late 19th century. Owned in the 20th by the Francis St John family, who converted the barn into a separate residence.
This is Morse Farm and the Barn on Morse Mt in the middle of the conservation area bought by George St John and left to his daughter and law, Constance St John and her heirs.
