This was the home of the George Edward Constable family. The fram was purchased in 1933.
Their 3 children were born there, in 1954 the fram was sold to his nephew, George E. Constable.
It was the start of Constable Hatcery in 1934 and grew to be the largest chicken hatchery in New England.
In 1954 a farm on Quaker Hill was purchased and the hatchery grew in size. That farm is now home to Unity College
