This was my Great-Grandfather Roy Staples' farm located on the North Searsport Road in Frankfort, Me. All of the buildings are now gone, but my Great Aunt, Evelyn Kingsbury, still lives in the house with the horseshoe shaped driveway. The building in the upper right was the slaughter house (also now gone) located right behind the home of Alden & Ada (Staples) White, my grandparents, which is just out of the frame. I have many, many very fond memories of growing up on this farm!!
My parents tore down one of those barns in 1979 and used the lumber to build their own barn at 161 Mt. Ephraim Rd. in Searsport.
I remember going there alot.My dad Percy Seekins worked for Roy..I love seeing this.
