My great uncle Edward Whicher owned this farm on Summer Street until the early 1980s. The farm is located across from Moulton Field, which is part of The Kennebunk Land Trust. The Whicher family owned a mill on The Mousam River in Sanford off Whicher's Mills Road. The family cemetery is also located on Whicher's Mills Road directly across from New Dam Road.
