One of the oldest churches in the Sometset County, it was located at the intersection of Rt 413/Old Westover Marion Road/Old Sign Post Road.
In 2009, my husband and I offered to buy it and relocate it to our property (shown in NSO-15-34, NSO-16-3 and NSO,118-7) and preserve it for the community, and at some pointgift it to the Somerset County Historic Society. Hosoever, the mover wanted to cut down the trees along our driveway to facilitate the move. We found it UNACCEPTABLE.
Later it turned out that there were 17 claimants to that prpoeety.
In 2012, they sold the stained glass windows, and eventually demolushed the church. The land is still unsold.
