This is my great grandparents home. My parents lived there for a few years. As well. Still in the family. The barn on the right is no longer there, but the one in the far back still stands.

So many memories were made and are cherished at this farm. It was owned by my Great Grandparents and remains in the family as my daughter Jessica stated in the first comment. Helping Grandma in her garden and eating creamed new potatoes and peas and her home made bread, swinging on a tire swing hanging from the large tree between the house and garage, playing in the old tar paper shack in the far back left, feeding chickens and watching baby chickens roam the yard, shelling corn, being amazed at the old wired bales of straw in the barn and hearing stories of my great grandma telling of her grandparents wearing wooden shoes to the barn to clean the pens are just a hand full of memories I hold dear! My husband and I were married beneath one of the trees in the yard and celebrated in the yard with friends and family. My brother rang the old original dinner bell twelve times, at noon, right before we were wed and remains in the yard yet today!
