Al (Maxine) Galloway Equipment, North U.S. 27, St. Johns, Michigan. This Photo 1968. Purchased by Worthington Ag.i.e. Central Michigan Tractor Parts. abt. Oct. 1980. The house was moved to downtown St. Johns, west side when the new highway went around St. Johns. Barn was torn down by Central Michigan Tractor to make way for the current warehouse that now stands. I worked there as a farmhand in the winter and early spring of, I think, 1954 or 55. Did chores such as milking cows, feeding hogs & beef cattle, moving baled hay from one mow to the opposing one, and then plowing. That was long before plows became so close to extinction as they are now (There's a farmer 6 or 8 miles south of me that has become a collector of plows, and has at least 450 of them, all ages and manufacture brands, displayed in neat rows. Look at them on Google Earth, panning south on Corunna Road, Chesaning, MI, and then drive by them for a closer look)
