The Bates homestead.. I grew up in this home...My parents bought it from my Grandparents who had bought it from my Grandfathers Aunt and Uncle who originally built this house and farm. My parents have both passed away, and now my oldest brother owns the farm. Not long before dad passed away, we got the "centennial plaque" for being in the family over 100 years....and still counting...Front porch has been turned into a 3 season room...and a new back porch, and deck with sliding glass doors have been added..and the barn has been added onto in the front.
